(Brookville, IN/Hamilton, OH) – A sad end to the search for a man last seen leaving Quakertown Marina at Brookville Lake.
EquuSearch Midwest wrote on social media that 50-year-old Todd Payne was found dead on Sunday.
“UPDATE: it is with great sadness that we inform that Todd has been located deceased,” reads a statement from the organization. “Our love and strength go out to his family and friends.”
Payne was the subject of a two-state search after he was last seen leaving the marina early last Monday morning around 1:30 a.m.
The Hamilton, Ohio Police Department said he was on his way to home to that city when he went missing.
No other information was provided about Payne’s cause of death or where his body was found.
