Scipio, IN — On Monday, Jennings County Sheriff Deputies responded to an address in Geneva Township, which is just southwest of Westport, in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. The victim advised deputies that someone had broken into his home and stole a guitar valued at $4,000.
Information obtained during the investigation led the deputy to another residence in Geneva Township to speak to a possible suspect. As the investigation continued, Lane Luhn, 24, of North Vernon admitted that he had entered the victim’s home and stole the guitar,and eventually sold it.
The deputy was able to locate the guitar in Bartholomew County. The guitar was recovered and returned to the owner. Lane Luhn was taken into custody and was charged with allegations of Burglary and Theft.
