North Vernon, In. — A Louisville man is in custody awaiting extradition following the shooting death of a North Vernon man. The Jennings County Sheriff’s Department alleges Stephon Moore, 30, shot and killed Donavon Booker.
With information provided by the sheriff’s department, members of the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department conducted a search warrant in that city. Moore and three others were detained and police are searching for another suspect.
Moore faces one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
