Louetta Clemons passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and kitties on November 18th 2023.
Born on August 7th 1942, Lou lived a life of kindness towards people and animals, spiciness and sassiness and joy. She loved working in her beautiful garden, decorating, Christmas, feeding the birds, her 5 kitties, doing puzzles and was a card shark as well as a whiz at Yahtzee. She loved making everyone laugh and could fix anything.
Lou is finally with her husband of 50 years, Dale Clemons, in Heaven jitterbugging and holding hands. Her mother and father Verna and “Shug” are there too probably eating flapjacks and soup beans with lots of onion.
Lou is survived by her daughters Katrine Burris, Tonya Arning and Heather Clemons, grandchildren Zack and Chaela Burris, Jourdan, Colby and Kasey Arning, and Zeke and Mirabel Porter, and great grandchildren Logan and Luna Burris. Lou leaves behind four sisters Patty Setzer , Brenda McCullough, Linda Martin and Joan Yocum. Lou was grateful to her loving caregivers and Margaret Mary Hospice who helped her in her last months.
She added a little spark and cowbell to this world and will be sorely missed by so many.
Lou’s Celebration of Life is Monday November 27, 2023 @6 PM at The First Baptist Church of Bright, 1920 North Dearborn Road, West Harrison, Indiana 47060.
