RIPLEY COUNTY, IN — Ripley County is mourning the passing of its longtime 9-1-1 Coordinator.
Judy Schebler passed away at her Osgood home on Sunday.
Schebler’s career spanned more than 30 years as Ripley County 9-1-1 Coordinator, a role she served until her retirement in 2017.
She is credited with implementing improvements that bolstered the 9-1-1 operation’s accuracy and precision, which significantly shortened emergency response times.
The Milan native was 70 years old.
