(Osgood, IN) – Ripley County is mourning the passing of a longtime sheriff’s deputy.
Steve “Sully” Sullivan died Sunday at his home in Osgood.
Sullivan received the Indiana Sheriff’s Association Lifesaving Award in 2012 for rescuing a person from a car fire.
He worked in recent years as the security deputy at the Ripley County Courthouse.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s business office will be closed on Thursday for Deputy Sullivan’s funeral, and will resume regular 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. hours on Friday.
Sully Sullivan was 65.
