Local students shine in film competition

Batesville, In. — The Batesville High School AV Club, led by sophomore Jacob Nobbe earned impressive honors at a recent competition.

In the “Short Narrative” category the students won 1st place with “Aspiring Astrology” produced by Madison Chambers. The club picked up another 1st place award for the “OK Car Stick up” in the Experimental” category produced by Skylar Simpson. The group also collected a 2nd place finish in the “Experimental” category for “Matte” produced by Nathan Hampton.

Nobbe, says, “The more than 50 participants in the BHS AV Club work very hard to develop, produce and present their works and they are glad to receive the recognition.”
