Local riders plan ‘CRISP’ to support local state parks

Batesville, In. — The Charity Ride Indiana State Parks or CRISP will be held Saturday, August 25 to benefit park facilities in the southeastern part of the state. The ride begins with an all-you-can-eat breakfast on the grounds of Hardy Lake at 7 a.m. and ends at Clifty Falls State Park with stops at the Charlestown and Versailles State Parks as well.

At the Charlestown State Park riders will be able to visit the site of the former Rose Island Amusement Park in the 1920’s. At the Versailles State Park there will be a Poker Run inside the park. Refreshments and snacks will be offered. Best poker hand wins the grand prize. The ride ends at Clifty Falls State Park with a hog roast, corn hole, beverages and S’mores bar.
