Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 8,527 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 359,430 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,252,864 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 16.0% positive rate and 60 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,748 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,528 cases and 32 deaths reported (up 31 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,452 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 34 new cases), Franklin County has 802 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 7 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,670 positive cases and 22 deaths (up 25 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 97 new positive cases.
