Lloyd Asche, 77 of Batesville passed away at his home with his family on Saturday October 28, 2017. Lloyd was born November 11, 1939 in Ripley County to Gerald and Oneida (Shelp) Asche. He was married to Shirley (Fox) Asche who preceded him in death. He later married Hilda (Bolt) Asche who survives. Lloyd was a retired employee of Cummings Engine in Columbus, and was a member of the Delaware United Methodist Church. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Lloyd is survived by wife, Hilda Asche of Batesville, daughters Andrea (Cecil) Franke of Dublin, Indiana; son Steven (Teresa) Asche of Farmersburg, Indiana; stepdaughter Dana (Charlie) Jones of Lafayette, Indiana; stepson Shane (Jana) Smock of Scipio; sister Geraldine Brewington of Batesville; 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by first wife, Shirley, brothers Donald and Charles Asche and grandson Sergeant Christopher Readling.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made out to Southern Care Hospice and sent to the funeral home.
