Letha Olive “Ollie” (Benham) Thomas, 85, of Greensburg passed away on December 15, 2020. She was born on August 25, 1935 in Westport the daughter of Leonard “Andy” Benham and Helen (Powers) Barhorst. She married John Franklin “Jack” Thomas on June 2, 1962 and together they have four children: James, Galen, John and Kathy. Ollie worked as a secretary at various places most of her life, she retired from James River and opened O.N.E. Health Supply, until she retired for good.
Survivors include: Husband, John “Jack” Thomas; Children, James Thomas, Galen Thomas, John (Sara) Thomas and Kathy (Rick) Vanderbur; Grandchildren, Scott Hack, Ashley (Anthony) Strater, Heather (Ashley) Thomas, Vicki Thomas, Erica Thomas, Jasmine Thomas, Joe Vanderbur, and Nikki (Joe) Kern, Breann Medford, Brycen Medford; Great Grandchildren, Adelynn Strater, Madilynn Lutz, Zeke Strater, Theo Thomas and Ayden Banks; Sister, Ethel (Bill) Borneman; Kathy (Tim) Reece; Brother, Dick (Sue) Benham; Sister in Law, Mary June “Sissy” (Harold) “Chap” Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents and Sisters, Nellie (Larry) Pfeister and Patsy (Ervin) Ahrens; Niece, Debra Bailey and Nephews, Eddie Borneman, Mike Benham, & Stanley Pfeister.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, Indiana on Saturday December 19, 2020 at 1:00PM. Rev. Roger Campbell will be officiating. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Aspen Place Health Campus, Activities Department.
