Leola J. Holdcraft, 93, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024.
She was born September 4, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Harry Schneider and Nellie (Folmer) Schneider.
Leola worked for KFC in Lawrenceburg, retiring after many years of service.
She was a loyal member of St. Lawrence Church, and a member of the Lawrenceburg American Legion.
Leola’s joys were her special companion, Gretchen, her Persian cat, and Gus, her German Shepherd. In 2012 when the Lawrenceburg City Dog Park was dedicated, it was named after her loving dog, Gus.
Leola is survived by her sons, J.R. (Melody) Holdcraft, and Mike (Susan) Holdcraft; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Nellie Schneider; and her loving husband, Jack Holdcraft.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at theFuneral Home, at 4:00 pm.
