STATEHOUSE — State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) is urging students to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
“The deadline for high school seniors and college students to submit their FAFSA is quickly approaching,” Leising said. “There are thousands of dollars waiting to be claimed through scholarships, grants, and loans that many students do not realize they are eligible to receive. Indiana’s deadline to apply is April 18.
“The FAFSA can open up many opportunities for students, especially those from rural Indiana. I hope to see more students fill out the FAFSA and see that there are options for them to pursue higher education,” added Leising.
