(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg – pictured second row, fourth from left) joined Gov. Eric Holcomb when he ceremonially signed House Enrolled Act 1601 into law at the Statehouse Monday.
Effective on July 1, the law establishes permit exemptions for forestry operations confined to a waterway that has a watershed of less than 10 square miles.
