(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) co-chaired the final Drainage Task Force meeting of 2023 at the Statehouse on Wednesday, October 25.
Created by Senate Enrolled Act 85, which Leising authored during the 2022 legislative session, the task force discussed its final report, including formal policy recommendations for the 2024 legislative session.
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Ripley, Fayette, and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings, and Shelby counties.
