Lee “Lebo” Graf – Cedar Grove

Lee “Lebo” Graf, of Cedar Grove, was born on June 9, 1952 in Batesville, the son of Albert T. and Marilyn C. Mergenthal Graf.  He married Cathy A. Bischoff on August 12, 1972 at Holy Guardian Angels in Cedar Grove and together they raised 4 children.  Lee was a cement mason and a member of Holy Guardian Angels Church.  He was also active as a member of the Cedar Grove Conservation Club and the Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department.  Lee loved frying chicken and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  On Thursday, April 5, at the age of 65, Lee passed away at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

 

Those surviving who will honor Lee’s memory include his wife, Cathy Graf; children, Stephanie (Tim) Bohman of St. Peters, Autumn (Ben) Reinier of W. Harrison, Phillip (Nicole) Graf of Franklin, Ashley (Derek) Graf of Cedar Grove, and 9 grandchildren.  Also surviving are his sisters and brothers, Yvonne (Linden) Brandes, Shelly (Larry) Lunsford, Rena (Jim) Sacksteder, Trisha (the late Dickie) Rosenberger, Alan (Mary) Graf, and Greg (Stephanie) Graf, all of Brookville, and one sister-in-law, Pam Graf of Cedar Grove.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Graf, a brother, Donald “Mole” Graf and a brother-in-law, Dickie Rosenberger.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville where Rosary will be prayed at 3:15.  Father Sean Danda will officiate the funeral mass on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels Church.  In keeping with the Lee’s wishes, cremation will follow.
