(Lawrenceburg, IN) – The couple who has been operating Lawrenceburg Speedway for the past 17 years says they are retiring from racing when the current season ends in October.
Dave and Kim Rudisell made the announcement on the Speedway’s Facebook page.
The Rudisells attribute their decision in part to changes in the racing industry over the past few years.
The track’s future going into next year and beyond is uncertain since the Rudisells rent the facility from the City of Lawrenceburg.
All gift cards from the track issued since 2007 will expire on October 7.
