Lawrenceburg gas station stabbing, armed robbery suspect arrested

LAWRENCEBURG, IN — A suspect has been arrested in connection with Wednesday morning’s stabbing and armed robbery at the VP Racing Fuel station in Lawrenceburg.

Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens says less than 24 hours after the incident, the suspect was taken into custody early this morning in Kentucky.

The suspect has not been formally charged.

Deddens says once formal charges are filed, his identity and additional details will be released.

Lawrenceburg Police are still investigating.

The incident prompted an exterior lockdown for close to an hour at the nearby Lawrenceburg Community Schools campus.
