(Laurel, IN) – A Laurel woman is behind bars on drug charges following a traffic stop on the 25,000 block of Stipps Hill Road on Sunday.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled a vehicle over for a loud exhaust system when he noticed behavior which prompted further investigation.
This led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and alleged drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
42-year-old Amanda Geary was taken into custody and transported to the Franklin County Security Center on a preliminary charge of Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 felony).
The investigation is ongoing.
