Hamilton County, OH — A Laurel man has been identified as the victim of a crash involving a Rumpke truck near Cincinnati last week.
Investigators say 40-year-old Brian Wilkerson was eastbound on I-275 in Colerain Township when his vehicle rear-ended the garbage truck last Thursday morning around 5 o’clock.
Wilkerson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Rumpke driver was not injured.
It’s not known why Wilkerson’s vehicle went into the back of the garbage truck.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were shut down for nearly eight hours.
