Langferman to be honored as IASP District 10 High School Principal of the Year

Milan, IN — Milan’s Ryan Langferman will be honored as the 2022 High School Principal of the Year for Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) District 10 on Sunday, November 20.

It will take place at a recognition ceremony as part of the 2022 Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration, which will be held during IASP’s Fall Professional Conference.

The award will be presented at a dinner at the Indianapolis JW Marriott Hotel at 6 pm, with IASP State President Matt Shockley presiding along with Executive Director Dr. Todd Bess.

IASP District 10 is located in Southeastern Indiana and is made up of Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Hancock, Jennings, Ripley, Rush, Shelby, and Union counties.

District High School Principals of the Year are elected by their peers.

One principal is honored from each of the 12 districts.

Of these 12 District High School Principal winners, one is chosen as the 2022 State High School Principal of the Year.

The State winner will be announced at the award celebration.

The Indiana Association of School Principals is a not-for-profit, professional association serving over 3,300 building-level administrators throughout the State of Indiana.
