(Batesville, IN) – A pavement patching project is scheduled to begin on State Road 46 in Batesville on or after Monday, June 8.
INDOT says work will take place on 46 between Huntersville Road and Merkel Road (County Road 450 East) near Morris, and is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting.
Single lane closures will be used under flagging operations during the project.
It’s part of a $2.1 million contract awarded to Dave O’Mara Contractors, Inc. in December 2025.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be extra careful, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near road construction zones.
All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
