The Franklin County Varsity Softball team lost an EIAC matchup to East Central on Tuesday Night by a final score of 8 – 0.
The Wildcats couldn’t get much offense going the entire game as they only had three base runners throughout the contest. Franklin County also had two costly errors that led to East Central runs in the game.
FC Offense
Kloe Bolos: 1/2 (Double)
KK Ferman: 1/3 (Single)
Kassidy Schell: 0/2, 1 BB, 1 SB
Franklin County will have a quick turnaround as they have another game on Wednesday where they will take on Cambridge City Lincoln. This will be senior night for the Wildcats as they honor our three seniors: Camryn Brewer, Kloe Bolos, and Kiya Rains. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 pm.

The Franklin County JV Softball team lost a hard-fought game to the East Central Trojans on Tuesday Night by a final score of 7 – 5.
This was a tightly contested, back-and-forth contest that was exciting to watch! Franklin County was out-hit in the contest by a 6 to 8 margin, and what could’ve made a difference for the Wildcats was on defense. Franklin County had four errors on the day which gave East Central additional opportunities to score which they took advantage of.
The big highlight of the evening was a solo home run off the bat of Kensee Ferman in the top of the fifth inning!

The loss now puts the Wildcat’s JV team with a 14-4 (10-2 EIAC) record on the season. Franklin County will be back in action on Thursday evening as they travel to Greensburg. First pitch for varsity is slated for 5:30 pm and the JV contest will follow.
