EC vs. Indianapolis Scecina.
Lost in 2. We started very slow in both sets, but gave them a run for their money at the end. I believe we are the better team, but we didn’t prove it on the court until it was too late. Scecina was very disciplined and I think that frustrated us. These girls showed a lot of heart int he second set being down more than 10 at one point. They refused to quit and ended up tying the game at 20 before giving up the final 5 point run to end the match.

EC vs. Indianapolis Lutheran.
Won in 2. We came out strong in the first set, attacking from every avenue to start the match. We pushed from the service line and offensively. In the second set, we let them stay in the game and go point for point too much, but they held strong and finished it in two.

EC vs. Tri-West.
Won in 3. This was probably the best game of the day for us and definitely the strongest competition. We were fired up and our defense came up big in all three sets. The girls finally bought into what the coaching staff has been saying and it showed on the scoreboard. We played our best volleyball of the season in this match and only look to build from here.
