The Pirates traveled to Batesville to face the Cubs in sectional play on a very wet Thursday. The first 18 minutes was a tough set with the Cubs putting 4 points up. That would set the pace for the game.
Keeper Madeline Shrader would see 17 shots on goal allowing 5 to settle in 65 minutes of play. Keeper Emma Hostetler would see three shots on goal allowing one to settle in her 15 minutes of play.
