The Greensburg Lady Pirates traveled to Lawrenceburg for a noon start. The nearly undefeated Tigers, now 14-1, controlled the field for the entire match. The Pirates held off the scoring attacks for the first eight minutes, but it proved to be too much.
Keeper Madeline Shrader would see 14 shots on goal allowing seven in the first half. Keeper Emma Hostetler would see nine shots on goal and only allow 2 in the 30 minutes played of the second half. The game would end with just over 10 minutes left on the clock.
This brings the Pirates to 4-8 for the season and 1-4 in their conference. The Pirates will be back in action on Wednesday, September 27th, at 6 p.m. when they travel to South Dearborn.
