Lady Eagles Split With Lady Pacers

The JCD Lady Eagles Jr. High Team traveled to Switzerland County Monday night to take on the Lady Pacers. The 7th grade came away with a close victory winning 20-19. Scoring for the Eagles were Weber 12, Richter 4, Jones and Veercamp 2.

The 8th Grade found themselves down quick in the first quarter 9-3. They struggled putting plays into motion and were trailing 17-7 at the half. Working some new things in & facing some difficult defense, they went into the 4th quarter 27-11. Some quick defense & scoring got them close, but the Pacers out scored them 10-9 in the quarter. They never gave up and worked together. There are many bumps and bruises from this game, but they will overcome and work hard to bounce back. Scoring for the Eagles were Rider 8, Cullen 7, Sparks and Williams 2, and Fullmer 1.

They will face South Ripley at home on Monday. Come out and support the Eagles.
