Lady Dogs Take Both Battles From Lady Cats

The road warrior 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs won their third away game in a row 33-17 at Brookville on Thursday night.   The Bulldogs dominated the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 21 to 10.   Emma Weiler (16 points) and Makayla Granger (13 points) lead the way on offense for the Bulldogs combining for three 3-pointers and 8 for 9 shooting from the free throw line to ice the game.  Ava Hanson and Jadyn Harrington each had 2 points to round out the scoring for the Bulldogs.  The 7th graders end their regular season with an impressive 12-3 record and host St. Louis in the SEI Tournament on Monday night at Batesville 5:30 pm.   Congrats on a great season and good luck in the tournament.

The BMS 8th grade Lady Bulldogs end their regular season Thursday night by defeating the Franklin County Wildcats 25-23 in Brookville. The Lady Bulldogs could not get the outside shot to fall, but played great defense to secure the win Calley Kaiser led all scorers with 11 points. Breanna Wells added 6, Ashley Nobbe chipped in 5, and Carley Pride had 3. The Lady Wildcats were led by Hadley Hornsby with 8.  Brianna Bischoff and Kaitlyn Brunemann each had 6, and Kylie Lea added 3. The Lady Bulldogs finished the season with a record of 11 wins and 4 loses.  The Lady Bulldogs will play the St.Louis Lady Cardinals Monday night at home in the opening round of the Southeastern Indiana Tourney.  The 7th game starts at 5:30.
