The North Decatur Chargers Varsity Softball team had trouble keeping up with Hauser The Lady Jets in a 10-0 loss on Friday.
A single by Kaylin Muckerhide in the first inning was a positive for ND.
P McDanial took the win for Hauser. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on four hits over six innings, striking out seven.
Haley Arthur took the loss for The Lady Chargers Varsity. The lefthander lasted five innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out six and walking zero.
Bobbie-Jean Trask went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead ND in hits. The Lady Chargers was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Kacie Ogden had the most chances in the field with seven.
The Lady Jets had 13 hits in the game. K Mack, H Taylor, A Branum, and R Johnson each racked up multiple hits for Hauser, who was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Johnson made the most plays with seven.
