The Lady Chargers enjoyed the post-Thanksgiving weekend game by dismantling the Knightstown Panthers 58-26 on Saturday afternoon.
North Decatur jumped out early with a stingy defense that created multiple offensive opportunities for the Chargers. Madi Allen led the team with 7 first-quarter points.
The second quarter saw much of the same for ND. Five different girls got in the scoring column as the team went into the halftime break with a 28-11 lead.
North did not let the Panthers have any breathing room in the second half, outscoring Knightstown 30-15 in the final two-quarters of play. Kelsey Haley knocked in two threes to lead the scoring in the 3rd quarter.
The 58-26 win record was the most lopsided win in the young season and improved the team to 4-2.
