The North Decatur Lady Chargers bounced back in a big way Tuesday night, defeating the Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles 61-40 at home. The win ended a three-game skid and improved the Chargers’ record to 6-4 on the season, while Jac-Cen-Del fell to 5-6.
Madi Allen delivered a standout performance, leading all scorers with an impressive 33 points. Carmen Thackery contributed 7 points and 5 assists, while Kelsey Haley and Jo Whitaker each added 6 points. Ally Whitaker chipped in 5 points, and Clare Kinker rounded out the scoring with 4 points.
North Decatur started strong with a 23-point first quarter and maintained control throughout, holding Jac-Cen-Del to single-digit scoring in each of the final three quarters.
