The Lady Chargers hosted the visiting Eagles from Jac-Cen-Del on Tuesday night and came away with the victory in a final score of 20-37.
Leading the Chargers with a second-place finish was Dorothy Robbins with a time of 24:50. Following Robbins and claiming places 3-9 were freshman Jewel Verseman at 25:25, Ava Lecher in 4th place at 28:20 and Junior Cecilia Barber at 28:24 good enough for a 5th place finish. Sophomores Olivia Reisman 6th place 28:44 and Lauren Miller 28:45 claiming 7th place provided a solid punch in the middle of the Charger onslaught. Freshman Emerson Gunn 28:51 finished in 8th place and rounding out the scoring for the Chargers with a 9th place time of 29:12 was Madison Rohls.
The Lady Chargers return to action on Saturday as they travel to Waldron for the Mid Hoosier Conference meet.
