Lady Chargers Varsity Defeated By Lady Royals

One bright spot for ND was a single by Macy Scudder in the third inning.

Madison Stephens took the win for EH. The bulldog went seven innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out 11, and walking one. Haley Arthur took the loss for The Lady Chargers. Bobbie-Jean Trask and Scudder each managed one hit to lead North.

Kaylee Stewart led The Lady Royals with two hits in four at-bats. EH didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kaylee Kline had the most chances in the field with 11.

Walk-Off Seals Win For Lady Lancers Against Lady Chargers 

It came down to the last play, but The North Decatur LadyChargers was on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat to The Edinburgh Lady Lancers on Saturday.

The game was tied at two with The Lady Lancers batting in the bottom of the eighth when MacKenzie Bieker homered on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Edinburgh pitchers struck out nine, while ND sat down seven.

Lady Chargers Loses Lead Early In Defeat To Lady Woodmen

The North Decatur lady Chargers fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 12-9 loss to The Greenwood Lady Woodmen on Saturday.

Greenwood scored on a walk by N Wheatlley, a grand slam by T Dick, a home run by K Hankenhoff, and a home run by S Markowurz in the second inning.

Despite the loss, ND did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, The Lady Woodmen had 13 hits on the way to victory.
