The St. Louis Lady Cards hosted a home game against Sunman-Dearborn.
The 7th grade Lady Cards won with a score of 28-12 over the Sunman-Dearborn Trojans. Scoring for SLS were Emma Weberding with 8pts, Alyssa Wanstrath with 6pts, Ava Allen and Faith Tekulve with 4pts each, and Ellie Cornett and Olivia Raab both with 2pts. Kate Voegele did a great job pulling down rebounds and playing Defense. They all hustled and worked well as a team. Great game ladies.
The 8th grade Lady Cards lost in a close game against the Sunman-Dearborn Trojans with a score of 31-24. This game was close at the third when we started to get into defensive trouble. Scoring for SLS were Lauren Gutzwiller with 9pts, Pam Meneses with 5pts, Emma Weberding and Grace Eckstein both with 4pts each, and Betsy Harmeyer with 2pts. They did a great job pressing and rebounding but feel a bit short. Good game ladies!
