The 7th and 8th grade St. Louis Lady Cards took on North Decatur last night.

The 7th Grade Lady Cards fell short of a win last night with a score of 20-11.

Scoring for SLS were Ava Allen, Lilly Wonnell, Kate Voegele, Emma Weberding, and Chelsea Robertson all with 2pts, and Olivia Raab with 1pt.  These girls played hard all game, but we just couldn’t stop their offense and struggled getting a shot to fall for us.
The 8th grade team had an AMAZING game!  Score ended with ND winning 25-23 with a 0.8 second foul called for ND to sink two free throws.

Scoring for SLS were Pam Meneses with 11pts, Lauren Gutzwiller with 5pts, Betsy Harmeyer, Lilly Wonnell, and Emma Weberding all with 2pts each, and Olive Cerniliga with 1pts.  This was a rough game physically for SLS our point was taken out in the first quarter with a possible concussion.  Betsy Harmeyer stepped up and played point well for us.

We came back from behind to tie the game until that 0.8 sec marker.   These girls left hurting from getting tossed and around and hustling till the end.  ND didn’t win this game easy at all.  Very good sportsmanship displayed by SLS!
