The Batesville varsity girls tennis team defeated Greensburg 4-1 on Tuesday.
#1 Singles- Sophie Brown (subbing in for Alana Pinckley) was defeated by Reagan Rigney 1-6, 1-6.
#2 Singles- Rachael Rose defeated Bailey Menkedick 6-2, 6-4.
#3 Singles- Audrey Weigel defeated Ellie Acra 6-0, 6-0.
#1 Doubles- Julia Hunter and Anna Kick defeated Elaine Welage and Julia Pacilio 6-1, 6-2.
#2 Doubles- Corinne Stone and Baylee Rohlfing defeated Kirsten Fong and Claudia Westhafer 6-4, 6-2.
In JV, Batesville won 4-0. Jenna Ertel, Kate Poltrack, and Maggie Walsman won in singles. In doubles, the team of Maggie Schwettman and Audrey Amberger also won.
The Varsity and JV are now 5-1 on the season (5-0 in the EIAC) and will host South Dearborn at 4:30 on Thursday.
