Lady Bulldogs Top Lady Knights

The South Dearborn Lady Knights traveled to Batesville for Volleyball match up. The Bulldogs came out on top in 3 sets. 25-11, 25-17-,25-18. The Knights are a much-improved team this year under their new head coach. We just started the game very confident and played well. In the first set, we looked great. It was the first time since August that we had a full roster and no one out because of injury. Senior Abby Westerfeld made her first appearance since her knee injury.  Hopefully, we will stay healthy and continue to improve.

Leading our team was Macy Prickel who was 15 for 15 from the service line with 10 points and 3 aces. Kerigan Haskamp and Kylie Laker also had a good night from the service line. Macy led the offense with 9 kills followed by Katie Bedel with 8, Kylie Laker & Cayman Werner each had 5 kills, while senior Abby Westerfeld had 4. Defensively the team was led by Laney Walsman with 21 digs.
