The 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs went on the road and defeated Waldron Mohawks 25-15 to open the season.
The Bulldogs started slow, but finished strong outscoring the Waldon 15-7 in the second half. Leading the way scoring was Kaylin Hinners with 15 points; followed by Alyssa Nobbe with 4 points; and Rachel Lamping, Sara Lamping, Elaney McGuire chipping in two points a piece. On the defensive side of the floor the Bulldogs were led by Billie Puente, Renee Lecher, and Elana Kuisel.
The girls will have their home opener tonight vs. the Milan Indians at 5:30 pm. Come out and support the Bulldogs.

The 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs opened their season on the road Monday night by defeating Waldron 36 to 15.
The Lady Bulldogs opened the game with a stifling defense which took the Lady Mohawks out of their offense, and held them to only 2 first half points. Offensively the Lady Bulldogs were very unselfish, and had many tremendous passes to teammates. Overall, it was a total team victory.
Offensively the Lady Bulldogs were lead by Emma Weiler with 10. Other scorers for the Bulldogs were Ava Hanson with 8, Timbrè Davies had 8, Makayla Granger added 4, Megan Meyer scored 3, and Tiffany Hawker and Madelyn Pohlman each scored 2. Scoring for the Lady Mohawks were Lyndsay Shonk with 8, and Josee Larrison added 7.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Milan on Tuesday, and Jac-Cen-Del on Thursday. The 7th grade game tips off at 5:30.
