The Batesville Lady Bulldogs hit the road Thursday night and delivered an impressive performance, defeating the South Dearborn Lady Knights 51-12.
The Bulldogs set the tone early, jumping out to a 10-3 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. A strong second-quarter effort extended their lead to 22-9 by halftime. Batesville turned up the intensity in the second half, holding the Lady Knights scoreless in the third quarter while scoring 16 points. They sealed the victory with a 13-point fourth quarter.
Maggid Jalinek led the team with 9 points, while Jersey Trenkamp added 8.
