The 7th Grade Lady Cardinal completed their season with a record of 3-9 for the season, 3rd place in the Cardinal Classic and fell in the first round of the SEI Tournament against the Batesville Middle School Bulldogs. 25-9, 25-11. Rachel Suttmann led the Cardinals with 3 points followed by Lucy Abplanalp, Cora Roth and Sophia Hohenstein with 1 point each. Even though the Cardinals had a hard time with the Bulldog serves, they worked hard on the court to show their abilities to set up some offense. Lucy Abplanalp had several tips and hits for the Cardinals as well as Ashely Hunter had a strong hit. The 7th-grade volleyball team is a very young team. The improved greatly through the season even though their record did not show it.

The St. Louis 8th Grade Volleyball team won the first round of the SEI tournament against the Batesville Middle School Bulldogs 25-19, 25-23. The Cardinals had their best play of the season in the first set of the match. They covered the court well on defense. This helped set up the offense so the Cardinals could dominate. This play pushed over to the second set but the Cardinals had to work a little hard as the Bulldogs were able to dig several of the spikes and tips from the team. This was a team effort to pull out this win starting with the serve. The Cardinals served 94% for the night which is an outstanding number for this age group. Ingrid Tuveson led the Cardinals with 10 points. Kate Weber and Isabelle Wonnell set up the offense with great sets to the front row. Catherine Streator, Claire Saner and Isabelle Wonnell had several strong hits with several kills between them. This setup could not have happened without the passing skills of the back row players, Ingrid Tuveson, Ava Owens, Lilly Schebler, and Maggie Beiser. Ella Moster and Rhea Miller rounded the team with strong support at the net.
