Kevin Dean Collins Sr., 68, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at his home. Kevin was born on Sunday, September 14, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey; son of Elmer and Emma (Hunter) Collins. Kevin married the love of his life, Betty (Dobson) Collins, on February 3, 1979, and she preceded him on August 20, 2025. Kevin worked as a purchasing agent at a printing company before he later retired. Kevin was strong in his faith of the Lord. Kevin loved helping his wife Betty with various projects as well as watching TV. Most of all Kevin cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Kevin will be missed by his son Kevin (Leslie) Collins Jr. of Clarksville, IN; daughter Nicola (Jonathan) Jackson of Greenville, IN; brothers Elmer Collins of North Carolina and Douglas (Ruth) Collins of Milan; grandchildren Cayleb Jackson, MaCayla Jackson, Aly Collins, Jacob Collins, and Ethan Collins; and foster children Braiyden, Maddison, and Mackenzie Bruce.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Emma Collins; wife Betty Collins; brothers Ron, Ray, Dave, and Andy Collins; and sister Alma Jeffries.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be given in honor of Kevin to the Cancer Care Center at Baptist Health Floyd.
