Kenneth Ray Watson, age 62, of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Brookville, Indiana died Sunday August 4, 2019 in Ocala, Florida.
Born July 24, 1957 in Batesville, Indiana he was the son of the late Robert Sr. & Minnie (Summey) Watson. He was united in marriage to the former Virginia (Ginger) Boone, and she survives.
Kenneth was retired having worked in the construction industry for much of his life. In his leisure time he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.
Survivors include Ginger, his wife of over 40 years; daughters, Mary Ellen (Jeremy) King, Kendra Combs, and Barbara (Tay) Hardy, all of Brookville, Indiana; grandchildren Taiylor, Kaleb, Kaleigh, Harmony, Jordan, Skylar, Josiah, Jaden, Tony, Kolbie, and Ashtyn. Brothers, Russell (Debbie) Watson, Charles (Hope) Watson; sisters, Kathy McCreadie & Judy (Art) DeFossett, as well as many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Anderson, as well as two brothers, Robert Watson Jr, and Johnny Watson.
Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Todd Wolfe will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, August 10, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
