Kenneth Lee “Big Dog” Hall, 68, of Verona, Kentucky, passed away Sunday April 11, 2021 in Verona, Kentucky.
He was born February 19, 1953 in Covington, KY., son of Hilda (York) Royek and the late Benjamin Kenneth Hall.
Ken served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Ken used to own a boat shop in Elsmere, KY, where he sold and worked on boats. He worked and retired from GE as a Material Handler for 28 years. He was also a Union Rep for many years. In his younger days he loved to boat and camp. Ken rode motorcycles, loved Nascar, duck hunted and was an avid fisherman. He collected Longaberger items. He enjoyed dogs and his cat Virginia. Spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter was his favorite past time.
Kenneth is survived by his loving spouse LeAnn (Steiner) Hall; mother, Hilda Royek; step children, Kelli (Anthony) Jones of Rising Sun, IN, Ian Curry (Jessica Crabtree) of Milan, IN, Brennan Nickel (Samantha Ray) of Manchester, IN, Breslin Nickel of Manchester, IN, Halle Berry of Manchester, IN; sisters, Linda (Bill) Smith of Frankfort, KY, Robin (Jerry) Patton of Hillsboro, OH; grandchildren, Braelyn & Henry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Kenneth Hall, and brother, Ricky Hall.
Friends will be received Saturday, April 17, 2021, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 16393 St. Rd. #148, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Church, at 1:00 pm with Bill Secrest officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard.
