Keith Herald, age 90, of Brookville, Indiana died unexpectedly Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his residence in Brookville.
Born May 18, 1928 in Jackson County, Kentucky he was one of eight children born to the late John & Bertha (Boggs) Herald. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. On October 24, 2009 he was united in marriage to Nancy Kolb, and she survives.
Keith was retired from General Motors Corporation in Norwood, Ohio where he had worked for many years. He was a member & former Deacon of Maple Grove Baptist Church in Liberty, Indiana.
Besides his loving wife Nancy, survivors include children, Lisa (Jeff) Goins of Hamilton, Ohio, Linda (John) Quattrone of West Chester, Ohio, and Diana King of Bright, Indiana; seven grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Herald, three sisters, Hazel Coffey, Ruby York, and Ruth McMillan; three brothers, Pearl Herald, Alex Herald and Raymond Herald, as well as an infant brother, Roland Herald.
Family & friends may visit from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Pastor Kevin Waltz will officiate the Funeral Services at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville. Burial with Military Graveside Honors will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, Ohio.
