Franklin County C-team baseball earned an 8-2 win over Batesville on Tuesday.
The Wildcats scored five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was aided by singles from Luke Halpin, Aiden Blair, and Braylon Kruthaupt.
Kaden Welch had a great outing on the mound for the Wildcats, allowing one hit and two runs over seven innings, striking out 11.
Ethan Schneider was on the hill for Batesville. He went four innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out 4. Cayen Drake threw three innings out of the bullpen
Franklin County collected nine hits in the game. Brewer, Kruthaupt, and Blair had multiple hits for the Wildcats.
