Juvenile alleges inappropriate contact during walk to school

Greensburg, In. — According to a report from the Greensburg Daily News, police there are investigating a sexual battery case involving a 15-year-old girl walking to school.

The girl told police she was approached between 7 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of North East Street by a white man wearing a black jacket, black basketball shorts and a black bandana with white designs.

Reports indicate the teen suffered a minor abrasion during the encounter and was shaken up.

Police canvassed and continue to search for the suspect in the area. Parents are urged to be cautious and review routes to school and safety procedures.

Police are organizing extra patrols for the future.
