Versailles, In. — A jury in Ripley County has convicted Timothy Bowman, 49, of Holton, for firing shots at officers during a 2016 standoff with police.
Police responded to Bowman’s home following reports from family members that he pulled a gun on them. Bowman was shot by police during the incident.
Bowman was convicted of attempted murder and pointing a firearm. Sentencing has been set for April 20 in Ripley County Circuit Court.
