Judith K. Livers

 

Judith K. Livers, age 75 of Osgood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at her home. Judy was born on August 26, 1944 in Houston, Texas as the daughter to the late James and Katherine Judy Dunn. She married Leland Rigdon, and they were blessed with two sons, Thad and Mark Rigdon. Leland preceded her in death on February 6, 1999. Judy then married James Allen Livers on July 12, 2002 and he still survives at home.
Judy loved to nurture and care for people. With this loving quality she
possessed, she worked in the health care profession for Care Star taking care of people in Ripley County and the surrounding counties. Later she would work at Mirrus at Versailles. She and her husband James spent much time riding their Harley along with camping with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, James Livers; sons, Thad (Carie) Rigdon of Milan, James Norman Livers of Osgood, Brian Allen Livers of Indianapolis. Four brothers survive: James (Portia) Dunn, Jack (Betty) Dunn both of Texas, Larry Pugh of Lawrenceburg along with Steve Pugh of Aurora. One sister, Cecelia Bonta of Cleves, Ohio also survives, along with 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by son Mark Rigdon on February 12, 2007 along with 1 brother, Anthony Pugh.

Services will be held all in one day, Monday, December 9, 2019 at Neal’s Funeral Home with calling starting at 10:00 am until 12:00 noon when the funeral will begin. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the funeral home. Burial will be at Perseverance Cemetery near Osgood.
