John R. Bushman, 79 of Greensburg, formally of Moores Hill, passed away Wednesday May 25, 2016 at Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. John was born October 30, 1936 in Greensburg, IN the son of Walter and Pauline (Vinup) Bushman. He married Patricia Jo (Grace) Bushman January 1960 and she preceded him in death May 15, 1993. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Moores Hill Legion Post # 209 and member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Manchester. He worked at Schenley in Greendale. John loved raising Race horses and watching them race at the track.
John is survived by Daughter: Andrea (Doug) Allen of Milan; Brother: Clayton Bushman of Versailles; Sisters: Joann Kaiser of Aurora, Judy Bennett of Aurora. 2 Grandchildren: Kristi Sharp and Jared Powell, Step Grandchildren: Austin Allen and Bailey Laub. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday May 27, 12PM at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.
