John Imel, 70, of Greensburg, passed away at 6:23 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on June 15, 1954 in Shelbyville, Indiana the son of Perry Herbert and Rosamae (Schuck) Imel. He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and enjoyed playing guitar. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Earl, Robert, Charles, Bill and Dynnis Imel; sisters, Tillie Imel, Patsy Cowins, Peggy Gilland and
MaryJane Simmonds. According to his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no service.
